"Footprints of the China Inland Mission: Missionary Maurice H. Hutton" features our latest acquisition, the Maurice Hutton Family Collection. Maurice Hutton was an Australian missionary of the China Inland Mission who went to China in the early 20th century. His most notable achievements were the development of scripts for the Black Miao (Hmu) and Keh-Deo (Gejia) communities allowing them to read Bibles in their own languages.
